These redevelopment stages of the Lavarack Army Barracks in Townsville involved the design and construction of 11 precincts and approximately 160 new or refurbished buildings within an operational military base.
Stage 3 involved the demolition and construction of new precincts for 1st Battalion Royal Australian regiment, 2nd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment, 3rd Brigade, and a Combat Training Facility. Stage 4 included precincts for 3rd Combat Engineers Regiment, 4th Field Regiment, B Squadron, Military Police, Regimental Aid Posts, and Gym facilities.
Building types across the precincts included office buildings, workshops, maintenance facilities, storage warehouses, vehicle shelters, training facilities, and obstacle courses.
